Website Audit
Website Audit crawls pages starting from a URL and groups issues you can fix. Open it from the dashboard sidebar under Research, or go to Website Audit. Use it on sites you can change: your own project, a client site, or a staging URL.
Run an audit
- Enter a start URL (
https://example.com). - Set Max pages between 10 and 1000. Cost depends on how many pages you process.
- Run the audit.
Recent audits for this project appear in the history so you can reopen an earlier crawl.
Issues and pages
Results open with an overview of the crawl, then two tabs:
- Issues: grouped problems (titles, headings, meta, content, and similar). Each group can include a How to fix note and the affected URLs.
- Pages: every crawled URL with status, title, H1, word count, and image count.
Work from Issues first, then use Pages to spot thin content, missing titles, or error status codes. Re-run the audit after you ship fixes.
Pair findings with Keywords when you rewrite titles and copy, and GSC Insights to see whether Google is already sending clicks to those pages.
